July 11, 2012 Meeting Minutes
CALL TO ORDER / INTRODUCTIONS / APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm at Hawk’s Prairie Inn Restaurant in Lacey by Megan Renick, followed by introductions. The minutes of the prior meeting where approved.
SCHOLARSHIP FUND – Karen Johnson & Mark Twardzicki
Neither Mark nor Karen were present to report.
TREASURER’S REPORT – Larry Weniger
Larry reported the status of the clubs financial position.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
MEMBERSHIP – Art Carter
Membership matters are up to date.

NWACC – George Schwartz
Nothing new to report.
NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM – George Schwartz
The 2014 Corvette Museum Caravan is planned for August 2014. It is a two and one half week event.
HISTORIAN – Marilyn Trogden
Marilyn reported on the events since the last meeting.
SPONSORSHIP – Peggy Rogers
Peggy reported there are currently no new updates and that 2012 sponsorships are complete.
SUNSHINE
No new sunshine activity to report
EVENTS & ACTIVITIES – Josette Miller
The event sign up notebook was circulated amongst the members. Jason and Amy were thanked for hosing the 4th of July picnic.
VETTEFEST
VetteFest registration is underway. We are receiving registrations both online and by mail. Marilyn reported on their promotional visit to Yakima Valley Vettes club Vette-A-bration event. Anne reported on her promotional visit to the Glass Odyssey Corvette Club on Kitsap peninsula. Peggy requested additional volunteers for judging. Anne requested any other volunteers contact her for tasks where help is needed.
OLD BUSINESS
There was no old business.
NEW BUSINESS
Doug Grover was nominated for membership. The membership voted in favor of Doug Grover joining the club.
