SW Washington a lot of fun. No rain showers, great scenic route, with a lunch stop in Westport.
Upcoming events:
6/24 One lap around Mt Rainier. Bring a picnic lunch. We will depart from Royal Bean espresso stand on Tumwater Boulevard at 9 am.
7/4 Tumwater parade followed by a picnic at the Harris home. Pot luck salads, desserts etc, with burgers & hotdogs provided. Also BYOB. The club made a motion and passed it, to give the Harris’ up to $100 for picnic expenses.
7/21 Lakefair car show-need cars to show and judges. Look for the information on the sign up sheets.
Jon announced that he will be using “blind copy” email for your privacy.(NO, this is not the Braille version) So others could be receiving the same email, and you just can’t see who that might be.
Duncan is putting together the tour down to the South Bend parade, bigger and better than before. We will be adding the Miatas to the tour, with breakfast at Country Cousin in Centralia, and possible dinner stop on the way home. Watch for the details. We know this includes winding back roads as much as possible.
8/19-8/20 Randy’s Olympic Peninsula. We will be staying overnight at the PT Angeles Inn. (Randy isn’t paying. You are on your own for this) If you haven’t booked a room, check with Brian C. he will be canceling his room.
Eric gave us a summary of his trip to Yakima for Vette-A-Bration. Excellent show, great host club, good food and what a tour.!! Hill and Eric came home with trophies. Valley Vettes has invited us to join them in Leavenworth and their trip to the Dalles later this year.
If you need to order a name tag, let Jon or George know.

We have been invited by the North Thurston District to participate in the school supply drive again this year. A motion was made and passed to participate and challenge the Mustang Club with the most backpacks, filled with school supplies. We will most likely do this in August. Are the Mustangs up to the challenge?
Jim G suggested we display our banner more often. We paid for a nice banner and don’t use it as often as we could.
Raffle; $20 gift certificate for Tumwater Valley Bar and Grill from the Elliotts was won by JT. Cash pot won by Sam. Sam and Judy will supply the next door prize.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:40 PM
